SAE is essentially a community air quality
watchdog group in the Urbana-Champaign, Illinois area.   We have been in existence to some extent since 2014.  That was when some of us realized that much of the bad odors inside our residences could be tracked to bad odors outside, and that those odors were toxic pollution.  Ultimately, for help, we looked for a group like ours is today.  And now, here we are.  Our MISSION is to improve air quality by monitoring it in high pollution-impacted areas, and by empowering the residents and others with the lab results and other handy tools and services that they can more effectively address their individual air quality concerns, thereby collectively helping the broader community and
effecting greater change.
